So after you read this and make your selection make sure you cop one or all of them.

Well before we get started it's better we get to know how Bata started, where and when is came to Kenya. Bata (also known as Bata Shoe Organization)is a family-owned global footwear and fashion accessory manufacturer and retailer with acting headquarters located in Lausanne, Switzerland. Organized into three business units: Bata Europe, based in Italy; Bata Emerging Market (Asia, Pacific, Africa and La tin America), based in Singapore, and Bata Protective (worldwide B2B operations), based in the Netherlands, the organization has a retail presence of over 5200 retail stores in more than 70 countries and production facilities in 18 countries.
Bata Shoes was founded on 24th August 18 1894 in Zlin (Morovia today Czech Republic) by Tomas Bat'a, his brother Antonin and his sister Anna. whose family had been cobblers for generations. The company employed 10 full-time employees with a fixed work schedule and a regular weekly wage, a rare find in its time.
In 1914, with the outbreak of World War I, the company had a significant development due to military orders. From 1914 to 1918 the number of Baťa’s employees increased ten times. The company opened its own stores in Zlín, Prague, Liberec, Vienna and Pilsen, among other towns.
In 1933 – 1934, a group of Bata employees came to Kenya  from  Europe and started buying hides for the factory in Czechoslovakia and in 1935 Bata Shoe Company Kenya (K) Ltd,  under the name East African Bata Shoe Company was established in Mombasa to import Shoes from Zlin and sell in the local Market
In 1938 small  soap factory building was hired in Mombasa and the  production  of rubber and canvas footwear started.
In 1940 the factory moved to its current location in the pleasant green highlands of Limuru.
In 1965 the boots that Say you Know Africa "Safari boots" start being produced. Safari has since grown in leaps and bounds.

In 1970 Bata East Africa Shoe Company Ltd changed its name to Bata Shoe Company (Kenya) Ltd.
In 1975 Bata Kenya opened a full fledged tannery, enabling it make leather shoes from scratch. Previously, leather was imported and In 1983 Bata Kenya opened its first wholly owned store, Bata Nairobi Two ( Bata Hilton) , paving the way for company owned stores. Previously, Bata was running only franchises and dealerships.
In 2002 the company came up with the ‘new arrivals every week’ strategy. To date, you will find a new shoe every week in Bata stores.
In 2012  Bata Home , the online selling and home delivery service was officially launched.
Now  Bata Kenya has grown to a network of 130 stores countrywide, with several dealer outlets and supplying the East African region.

Well that is Bata history but we we've jumped a lot of history so if you want to read more jump over to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bata_Shoes to read more on Bata.

Bata Bullets
Bata Bullets
This sneakers date back in 1970s, they are one of the shoes that got all teens in east Africa, especially in Kenya. This colorway might not be the best but seriously you gotta head to Bata store you won't miss out on a colorway that will really hit you and get your feet happy. This shoe is made by Bata Heritage one of the Bata's brands.

Bata Ngoma
Bata Ngoma
This is also one of my favorite from Bata Kenya, I think I can call them "Ngoma"  which in Swahili means drums or in vernacular Swahili it means music. This is one of lightest shoes I have known, so flex and its got a rubber sole and it is also breathable. Perfect sneaker when you are on the run, This sneak is popular among women that's the black colorway with a white sole but you can get them in other colorways especially the white or brown one, which is perfect for the gents.

Bata Tomy

Bata Falcon

The falcons is probably the best sneaker that I found in a Bata store. they are just awesome by design and can be office shoes if you want you want to do sneakers to the office. I love the black colorway because of its yeah black is one of my favorite colors.

There you go guys sneakers that real caught my eye from Bata Kenya Store. I don't know if I really missed any but you have to know this Bata Kenya does not have a lot of sneakers to choose from, actually they are really on working office shoes and school shoes and actually in Kenya you have to get the Bata Toughees so that you get in school. Some schools are even strict on this.
